Caelan received a BA with Honors in Classical Studies from Boston College in 2025. Her research interests include material and textual exchange between the Greco-Roman worlds, the Near East, and the Mediterranean at large, especially where it intersects with the experiences of marginalized populations in the ancient world (e.g., women, children, displaced and enslaved people). Outside of her studies, Caelan enjoys reading science fiction/fantasy, making art and music, and completing rental friendly home projects poorly (but with a lot of spirit).
