CANES welcomes you to a light-hearted, reader’s theater production of Aristophanes’ Clouds.
Deeply in debt due to a disastrous marriage and his son’s horseboy antics, Strepsiades decides that his only solution is learning to argue his way out of debt. He seeks the instruction of the legendary philosopher Socrates to help him improve his arguments but soon learns that a classical education doesn’t come easily.
