Isabelle Paulsen has been awarded the Jane C. Waldbaum Field School Scholarship sponsored by the Archaeological Institute of America. Paulsen will be attending the Geté Anishinaabe Izhichigéwin Community Archaeology Project (GAICAP) Archaeological Field School in Red Cliff, Wisconsin.
Paulsen also earned an Earl D. Johnson Scholarship through the College of Letters & Science. This scholarship is for high achieving seniors with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.80 and was established with gifts from the family and friends of Earl D. Johnson, General Dynamics Corporation and the Arie and Ida Crown Memorial. Mr. Johnson was a 1928 graduate of the College of Letters & Science.
Paulsen is earning a BA with majors in Classical Humanities, Anthropology, and Environmental Studies and a certificate in Archaeology.
