The Prizes and Awards Committee for the Department of Classical and Ancient Near Eastern Studies recently awarded two students with undergraduate scholarships.
Asher Courtemanche, a senior majoring in Latin, Classical Humanities, and English, was awarded both the Gertrude E. Slaughter Summer Study Scholarship and the Ruth M. Kuhlman Undergraduate Scholarship.
Miranda Halsey, a senior majoring in Classical Humanities and earning certificates in Archaeology and Art History, was awarded the Gertrude E. Slaughter Summer Study Scholarship.
Both scholarships are intended to benefit and advance students’ studies within the field of Classics.
