Alumnus Theodore Stavropoulos has published a novella written in Latin titled, Ovis Quae Cursum Amisit.
He explains, “I wrote Ovis Quae Cursum Amisit during the Summer of 2020, following my graduation from college. I decided that, without taking any organized Latin courses, I needed to keep up with the language in another way. In addition to reading the ancient texts, I focused my efforts on Conversational Latin, and, eventually, I decided writing a novella would be a productive way to improve my composition skills as well.”
Don’t miss the Spanish version, translated by Stavropoulos’s wife, Elizabeth.
Stavropoulos graduated in May 2020, earning a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Latin and Classics.
