Explore the influence that the culture and literature of ancient Greece and Rome have on contemporary popular culture. This course places ancient texts, myths, and images alongside modern films, books, shows and more. This course will deepen students’ ability to analyze, interpret, and critically consider the use of Greco-Roman influences in modern media, through exploring the creative work of others, and participating in the creative process themselves.
