Continued Introduction to the Grammar and Vocabulary of Classical Latin

Second Semester Latin continues the introduction to the grammar and vocabulary of Classical Latin, the language of Ancient Rome. It will cover approximately the second half of Wheelock’s textbook and will prepare you to begin reading Latin authors in the original (e.g., Ovid’s Metamorphoses in Latin 305!). While its focus is primarily on written grammar and translation, the course will also touch on aspects of Roman culture, history, and literature.
